What Are Non-Molestation Orders?
Whilst many people experience domestic abuse, it is not an acceptable state of being, and you can, with help, apply and secure a court order called a 'Non-Molestation Order.'
This court order can protect you and your family, helping secure your health, safety and wellbeing.
If the respondent - that is, the person subject to the Non-Molestation Order - breaches it, they will be committing a criminal offence and can be arrested.
The criminal offence renders a person liable to a fine and/or term of imprisonment not exceeding five years on indictment in the Crown Court or 12 months if convicted in a Magistrates Court.
