Neal Gozzett secures no further action for a member of local government after submitting detailed representations to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This included obtaining evidence that was not obtained by the police in their investigation including obtaining witness statements from crucial witnesses.
This was a year-long investigation, which included Mr. Gozzett conducting his own investigation alongside the police investigation to ensure all evidence was put before the CPS.
The aim was to ensure it resulted in a fair investigation.
No Further Action
The additional evidence was submitted alongside the representations to the CPS, resulting in no further action being taken.
