There are wholesale changes coming to the CJRS Grant and Furlough scheme starting next month.  The scheme has been a lifeline for many and a schedule of changes have now been released taking it from July 1st through to it's closure on October 31st.

As an employer or employee you should be aware of your rights and requirements.

The biggest change to the furlough scheme is that employers can begin to bring employees back part-time in July, and the scheme will continue to top up to 80% earnings.

From August however, the grant will reduce each month - 80%, 70% and then 60% until closure.

As always, the Government site is the place to head to for the latest information and the information supplied on our site is valid as a guide, on the date of publication.  The Government page can be found here.
