Neal Gozzett and Rachel Innes along with Counsel Marie Spenwyn from Libertas Chambers, successfully secure a non-custodial outcome for their client, accused of stalking and harassment of a high-profile political figure.
Neal, Rachel and Counsel worked diligently to defend their client and presented significant mitigation including expert reports which set out their client’s special educational needs (SEN) diagnosis.
A full trial was set to take place at the beginning of July 2026; however, the Crown Prosecution Service accepted a plea to the lesser offence of stalking and harassment under section 2A of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. Sentencing took place on July 3, 2026, at Isleworth Crown Court.
