Maria Monan and Joanne Coller were able to secure No Further Action for two clients in two separate cases recently.
The first No further action result was achieved for a London based Consultant and company director, following a false sexual allegation made against him. The matter was dealt with from the onset and arranged a Voluntary Police interview, ensuring the client was not arrested. Due to the evidence submitted from the onset, the investigation was quickly NFA’d with the complainant now facing a subsequent charge for harassment
The second No further action was achieved for a private school teacher who was the subject of a false sexual allegation from a former pupil. Maria and Joanne took over the matter following the client’s original police interview. Following the submissions provided to the investigating officer the matter was NFA’d at the police station stage as it did not meet the evidential test stage for the matter to proceed to the CPS.
