There is no doubting the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is wide reaching. The measures of global leaders and governments worldwide are changing daily and our team are committed to keeping up with the developments and recommendations and will update this page regularly and as needed.

The safety of our team and our clients is paramount and following advice we have closed our offices and are not engaging in face to face meetings.

The measures we put in place early in March to ensure our team were ready to work remotely have ensured that we are settled into our own remote working environments and it is business as usual at Monan Gozzett.

We are utilising the latest technology to keep in touch with our teams, partners and clients and are happy to discuss your cases on the phone, through video or email – enabling us to continue taking on new cases and work on existing cases as effectively as possible.

We will be updating this page and our social media with useful information as and when required. Meanwhile, some frequently asked questions are below.

Covid-19 FAQs

Are your offices open?
We may have staff in certain locations as and when the job dictates a need but our offices all remain closed to the general public. The main reason for this is to protect you (our clients), our staff and our families from any potential viral spread. We are confident that our systems and processes for remote working are robust and capable of ensuring the service from Monan Gozzett is at or beyond the levels you expect.

Are MG Solicitors still working on my case, or taking on new cases?
Our team are as reachable as ever and your current case, or new case will be worked on with the same diligence and quality that our clients have come to expect.
*Our defence solicitors are classed as Key Workers and as such, when required we will safely represent clients as in court and police stations.

What about pending court dates and case deadlines?
Our team will discuss any critical dates and potential adjustments with you (for example court dates). This may include remote hearings as the courts utilise technology for social distancing.

If you are all at home how can I get hold of your team?
